Job Description

Seeking a Data Manager to lead clinical data science programs at ICON. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end project execution, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget. Collaboration with data scientists, statisticians, clinical researchers, and stakeholders is essential to align on objectives, data needs, and analytical methods. The role involves developing and maintaining program plans, timelines, and budgets, along with providing strategic oversight on data science methodologies. Effective communication of program status, insights, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders is required to address potential issues.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, clinical research, or a related field is required. 2. An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications are highly preferred. 3. Must have extensive experience in program management within the clinical data science domain. 4. Strong background in data science methodologies and statistical analysis is crucial. 5. Must have exceptional leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams. 6. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques is necessary. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for stakeholder engagement.
