About Your Role: The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in designing and deploying data architectures, coupled with a solid grasp of database management, data modeling, and data governance. This position demands a strategic mindset, robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

1. Possess a broad business skill set, including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience. 2. Experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences, especially those who are not technical. 3. Willing to travel for project-related work. 4. Design and implement robust, scalable, secure, and optimized data solutions that support business requirements and strategic goals. 5. Evaluate the client’s existing data estate, diagnose underlying issues, and propose potential solutions. 6. Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and provide expert advice on data management and architecture. 7. Develop data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries. 8. Oversee the ingestion and integration of data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms. 9. Conduct data quality assessments and implement data governance processes and best practices. 10. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and management. 11. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other team members. 12. Identify and mitigate data-related risks throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: · Proven experience as a Data Architect, with 10+ years of experience in data architecture, database management and data modeling. · Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks, particularly Agile. · Proficiency in both SQL and NOSQL database management systems (e.g. SQL Server/Oracle/MongoDB, CosmosDB, Snowflake, Databricks). · Hands-on experience with data modeling tools, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration techniques. · Experience with at least one cloud data platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). - Strong knowledge of data workflow solutions like Azure Data Factory, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow etc - Good knowledge of stream and batch processing solutions like Apache Flink, Apache Kafka/ - Good knowledge of log management, monitoring, and analytics solutions like Splunk, Elastic Stack, New Relic etc *Given that this is just a short snapshot of the role we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the requirements listed above.
