Data Analyst

Job Description

Join our team as a Data Analyst and play a key role in supporting digital transformation, service innovation, and program review across various government services. Collaborate within cross-functional agile delivery teams, contributing to both data engineering and analytics streams. You will be instrumental in building scalable data pipelines, supporting ETL workflows, designing dimensional data models, and conducting statistical and exploratory analysis. This role also involves developing dashboards to effectively track service performance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer and/or Data Analyst. 3. Proven experience working with large datasets (cloud-based and on-premises). 4. 3+ years of experience in dimensional modeling using Star/Snowflake schemas. 5. Expertise in dashboard and reporting development using Power BI or similar tools. 6. Strong understanding of data governance and security principles. 7. Proficiency in SSIS. 8. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). 9. Knowledge of APIs for data extraction and integration. 10. Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud migrations (on-premises to cloud or cross-platform). 11. Familiarity with Git workflows. 12. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. 13. Knowledge of containerization technologies.
