Data Analyst, Compliance

Job Description

As a Data Analyst specializing in compliance, you will: * Support the Transaction Monitoring System Analytics Manager with both routine tasks and unique analytical projects. * Create, improve, and automate data analytics, management information systems (MIS), and regulatory reports related to compliance. * Design, build, and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. * Develop and refine Excel-based automation tools to streamline processes. * Work closely with Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to achieve common goals. * Offer analytical support to address production issues and investigate data discrepancies.

Qualifications

Here are the qualifications and experience we're looking for: 1. 5-7 years of hands-on technical experience as a Data Analyst in a financial institution. 2. Expertise in SQL for handling large datasets. 3. Experience in writing stored procedures, functions, and packages (T-SQL/PL-SQL/PLpgSQL). 4. Advanced Excel skills including macros/VBA, Power Query, and pivot tables. 5. Familiarity with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 6. Proven ability to translate regulatory and compliance needs into practical data analytics, MIS, and reporting solutions.
