Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer to safeguard our organization. This role involves managing host hardware, operating systems, and multiple servers supporting Caesars. Responsibilities include developing system procedures, training employees, and participating in long-term strategic planning. Ensure the security, installation, maintenance, and performance of strategic systems, while resolving complex problems and enforcing audit controls. Additional duties involve identifying areas for improvement in data security policies, contributing to application development, troubleshooting, and collaborating with technical teams. Plan hardware installations, administer security system updates, and recommend design changes. Proactively identify and address potential operational issues, providing management with detailed reports. Implement network security policies, analyze system data, and engineer new systems. Stay updated on emerging industry trends to enhance system efficiency and cost savings. Serve as a technical advisor and coordinate with various departments to optimize operational effectiveness. Maintain disaster recovery plans and vendor performance to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in cybersecurity required; additional experience in computer support, networking, programming, or operations preferred. 2. Requires knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, information security, wide and local area networks, communications protocols, real-time systems, mission-critical systems, industry standards, and FCC regulations. 3. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Extensive training in engineering disciplines, including systems programming, systems design, computer technology, and software disciplines. 5. Proficiency in operations management, project management, and system implementation management. 6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or MIS.
