Cyber Security Engineer – Contract

Job Description

Join Sunshine Enterprise as a Cyber Security Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our enterprise. This contract position involves supporting the design, deployment, and operations of key security platforms such as SIEM. You will be responsible for building and maintaining vulnerability management programs, deploying Linux-based security sensors, and automating security tools using scripting languages like Python and Bash. Additionally, you will contribute to enterprise security architecture design, implement security controls, and support incident detection and response activities. Develop technical documentation and contribute to continuous security improvements.

Qualifications

1. Possess 10+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity. 2. Exhibit a strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles. 3. Have 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise security tools, including SIEM, CRIBL, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and Endpoint Security. 4. Demonstrate hands-on experience with SIEM administration and reporting, XDR platforms, vulnerability management tools, and endpoint security and DLP solutions. 5. Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, including hardening and configuration. 6. In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and secure system design. 7. Proven experience with security monitoring, detection, and incident response. 8. CISSP or Security+ certification is preferred.
