Job Description

Join Savista as a Customer Service Representative and play a crucial role in resolving patient healthcare accounts. Negotiate payment arrangements with patients or guarantors, ensuring efficient and timely account management to expedite the patient-to-payment process. Conduct thorough research and reconciliation of accounts, maintaining clear communication with clients, government, and commercial payers. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing routine issues and inquiries related to the revenue cycle with expertise in insurance and healthcare. Document patient interactions accurately, identify balance discrepancies, and implement actionable steps for resolution. Collaborate with both client and internal teams to ensure proper account handling, while also contributing to the improvement of procedures and workflow as needed. Your role directly impacts patient satisfaction and the financial health of our healthcare partners.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a call center or similar healthcare revenue cycle role focused on patient accounts. 3. Minimum 3 years of experience managing a high volume of inbound or outbound calls. 4. Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience within a patient financial services office or insurance collections for all payers. 5. Comprehensive knowledge of patient access services and their impact on the revenue cycle. 6. Proven ability to effectively manage escalated calls. 7. Demonstrated expertise in supporting, training, and mentoring team members. 8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients warmly, helpfully, and professionally, while building trust and rapport.
