Customer Manager – 12-month fixed-term
Job Description
Assume a general manager's perspective, overseeing business planning cycles such as MBRs, QBRs, and Joint Business Planning. Support and implement long-term customer strategies that align with Clorox's key objectives. Apply Net Revenue Management (NRM) principles to improve trade investment and foster profitable growth. Develop strong, multi-level customer relationships through impactful storytelling and engagement. Utilize a 360° omni-channel approach to enhance customer and shopper satisfaction. Assess performance data and post-promotion results to uncover opportunities and drive better outcomes. Provide accurate forecasts and scenario planning to inform critical business decisions. Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities by leveraging data-driven insights. Execute promotional plans and trade programs with precision and attention to detail. Use systems and tools like Exceedra, POS, Nielsen, and Numerator to effectively manage performance. Work collaboratively across departments, including Demand Planning, Customer Experience, and Strategy teams. Ensure that all internal stakeholders are aligned to achieve efficient and effective execution.
Qualifications
1. 5+ years of sales experience in Consumer Packaged Goods 2. Experience managing key retail accounts including Metro Quebec, Jean Coutu, and Super C 3. Strong understanding of the Canadian retail landscape and category management principles 4. Proven ability to lead and influence across functions and with customers 5. Experience across multiple sales areas, including retail, account management, and sales planning 6. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actions 7. Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/analytics tools 9. Bachelor’s degree required 10. Bilingual in French and English.
