Job Description

Join our team as a Customer Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in guiding new enterprise customers through the onboarding process on the LangSmith platform. Your expertise will be essential in resolving any initial setup issues they encounter as they start building. You'll develop and lead live, interactive training workshops designed to build essential product knowledge and share agent engineering best practices with customer teams. You'll be instrumental in creating scalable enablement frameworks, including technical tutorials, best-practice guides, and reference implementations, ensuring our customers have the resources they need to succeed. As the voice of the new user, you'll synthesize feedback and identify friction points, informing our Product and Engineering teams to enhance the product roadmap. You'll also partner with Sales, Deployed Engineering, and Professional Services to develop enablement strategies for prospective customers, demonstrating the value and ease of getting started with LangChain. Keeping up with the latest trends in agent engineering, you'll quickly integrate new learnings into our customer enablement materials, ensuring our customers always have the most current and effective guidance.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Enablement, Customer Success Engineer, or Developer Advocate. 2. Proven software engineering experience with at least 2 years dedicated to AI/ML applications or agents, including proficiency in Python. 3. Deep understanding of the modern AI/LLM stack. 4. Passion for educating users on technical topics and deep empathy for the developer experience. 5. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality technical training programs, including live workshops and written tutorials. 6. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. 7. Capacity to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8. Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time for customer engagements.
