Job Description

Join MapLight Therapeutics as a Corporate Strategy Intern and contribute to our mission of discovering innovative therapeutics for central nervous system disorders. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis across various therapeutic areas and pipeline assets. Support the evaluation of potential business development opportunities, including strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to guide decision-making. Prepare compelling presentations and materials for executive leadership and board discussions. Analyze emerging industry trends, clinical advancements, and the evolving regulatory landscape. Provide support for clinical and commercial planning initiatives through both primary and secondary research efforts. This internship offers invaluable experience in the fast-paced biotechnology sector.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in business, life sciences, or a related field. 2. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 3. Demonstrate a keen interest in the biotechnology, healthcare, and innovation-driven industries. 4. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Capable of working independently and thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
