Corporate Development Manager
Job Description
Join Oklo as a Corporate Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth initiatives. This position involves constructing and maintaining detailed financial models for potential target companies and transaction scenarios. You will conduct valuation analyses using methodologies like DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company multiples. Lead cross-functional due diligence processes, coordinating internal and external stakeholders from legal, finance, product, and business teams. You'll assist in deal structuring, negotiations, and integration planning. Support long-term corporate strategy development and execution, preparing materials for the board, investment memos, and executive-level presentations. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to assess strategic priorities and maintain relationships with key ecosystem players, including bankers and VCs. Identify and evaluate M&A, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals, conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
1. Requires 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting. 2. Demonstrated experience in transaction execution and due diligence. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 5. Passion for technology and strategic growth. 6. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; or MBA. 7. Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and value-driven strategies. 8. Proven ability to build and manage senior relationships across financial, commercial, and government sectors. 9. Exceptional financial modeling, research, and analytical skills, with a knack for turning insights into recommendations. 10. Passion for market trends, innovation, and competitive dynamics. 11. Highly self-directed, with a track record of independently owning and delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
