Job Description

The Corporate Communications Intern will contribute to the Global Communications team at Henry Schein. Key responsibilities include: - Crafting articles and announcements for the company intranet (MySchein). - Supporting the promotion of corporate citizenship initiatives and Team Schein Engagement programs. - Preparing press releases, media advisories, and related content. - Monitoring industry trends using media tracking tools. - Assisting in creating targeted media lists for healthcare and business journalists. - Helping to develop scripts, talking points, and briefing documents for senior leadership. - Conducting research on speakers or panel topics. - Designing and writing content for our social media channels. - Tracking engagement metrics to identify high-performing content types. - Collaborating with the creative team to ensure visually compelling digital posts.

Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing. 2. Ability to translate complex healthcare logistics into clear and compelling stories. 3. High level of discretion when handling confidential corporate information. 4. Ability to adapt quickly to breaking news affecting the healthcare industry. 5. Familiarity with AP Style, Microsoft 365, and social media management platforms.
