Content Writer – VCE English

Job Description

Atomi is seeking a Content Writer to develop engaging educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons, specifically for VCE English. This role involves transforming curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans that support teachers and student success. The Content Writer will break down complex syllabus points, using their expertise to write content tailored to students' needs. They will stay up-to-date with subject content and evidence-based teaching strategies, adhering to a detailed style guide to ensure consistency. The role requires managing multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines, and collaborating with Visual Content Designers and Subject Team Leads. Responsibilities include sharing ideas and improving workflows through feedback and team discussions.

Qualifications

1. Deep knowledge of secondary school English (VCE experience required). 2. Strong grasp of how to deliver content that works for students. 3. Excellent writing and editing skills to simplify complex ideas. 4. A real passion for education and learning design. 5. Comfortable working with others and explaining your thinking clearly. 6. Confident using project management tools (or willing to learn). 7. Demonstrated success in VCE English, either as a teacher or student. 8. Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus. 9. An interest in learning design is great; training will be provided.
