Job Description

Provide expert technical leadership in designing and implementing ACSL's six impact studies. Ensure methodological rigor, quality control, and alignment with ACSL's Theory of Change. Employ contribution-focused, mixed-methods, and Afrocentric analytical frameworks across the portfolio. Generate robust evidence-based outcomes to inform learning, guide policy, and ensure the Centre's sustainability. Collaborate with governments and regional entities to improve school leadership, teaching practices, and student achievements.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in evaluating school leadership and/or education systems, ideally within Africa. 2. Solid knowledge of school leadership, professional growth, and policy changes. 3. Adept at utilizing mixed-methods approaches, contribution analysis, and systems evaluation. 4. Background in gender-transformative and equity-focused research. 5. Comprehensive understanding of Afrocentric and locally relevant leadership frameworks. 6. Skilled in managing multi-country, multi-study evaluation projects. 7. Excellent analytical writing and knowledge translation abilities.
