Commodity Manager – Electronics Sourcing, Passives

Job Description

As a Commodity Manager, you will: - Strategically plan for commodities and the supply base. - Collaborate across business units to implement effective supply chain strategies. - Manage relationships with multiple strategic suppliers. - Evaluate and select suppliers based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, and reliability (TCO). - Analyze data to determine fair prices. - Negotiate and execute long-term agreements that align with commodity strategies and stakeholder needs. - Lead the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. - Operate with minimal oversight. - Manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously. - Clearly communicate project status to leadership. - Identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through stakeholder collaboration. - Lead change management projects for cost savings and supplier alignment. - Support strategic initiatives and change management within the organization.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess: 1. A University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field. 2. Strong knowledge of Supply Chain practices and Commodity Management. 3. Excellent negotiation skills. 4. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Access database, and SAP.
