Cloud Platform Engineer – Contract

Job Description

Join our experienced cross-disciplinary team as a Cloud Platform Engineer and deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. Utilize your expertise to drive the design, development, and deployment of Satalia's Logistics and Delivery products. Work with solution architects to identify optimal technologies and processes for clients. Serve as a technical authority, guiding discussions on best practices and risk mitigation. Ensure robust security measures are implemented, tested, and maintained while building in comprehensive observability.

Qualifications

1. Experience building infrastructure and deploying code in a major cloud environment (preferably GCP) using tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and K6. 2. Proficiency in implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Grafana). 3. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 4. Solid understanding of: Infrastructure and Configuration as Code, Safe Deployment strategies and CI/CD, Cloud-based and Cloud-native system design, Observability, Developer Experience, DevOps and SRE, InfoSec and SIEM.
