Job Description

Join Medtronic as a Clinical Sales Specialist, where you'll be instrumental in ENT surgical procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and products, along with expert device selection, programming, implantation, and meticulous testing. You'll deliver vital clinical support in surgeries, adeptly troubleshoot issues, and manage essential follow-ups in both hospital and clinic settings. Be the go-to expert for technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues, offering prompt and insightful responses. Maintain a keen awareness of competitive products, and utilize your expertise to educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on our cutting-edge products and therapies. Partner with management and the sales training department to onboard and develop new team members. Ensure meticulous event reporting and documentation using Medtronic's advanced technology tools. Proactively manage purchase orders and product replacements, collaborating with materials management to secure necessary purchase orders for cases within your territory. Oversee inventory management for case coverage and actively contribute to achieving quarterly goals at both the district and national levels. Work closely with sales representatives to surpass business targets, documenting activities using provided business tools, and cultivate strong relationships with office staff.

Qualifications

1. A High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience. 2. An Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience. 3. A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience. 4. Bachelor's degree in a health care related field (Nice to Have) 5. Master’s degree (Nice to Have) 6. Registered nurse or HCP with experience in a sterile environment (Nice to Have) 7. Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care (Nice to Have) 8. Experience in servicing medical personnel on product use (Nice to Have) 9. Experience with a medical device company or pharmaceutical company, and clinical experience in a specialty area: neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, pain management, or home health care (Nice to Have) 10. Understands basic reimbursement and healthcare environment (Nice to Have)
