Clinical Data Acquisition Analyst

Job Description

CareSource is seeking a Clinical Data Acquisition Analyst to be responsible for the complete acquisition and implementation of all defined clinical data sources. This role involves gathering and assessing clinical data business requirements for current and new market implementations. Key responsibilities include documenting requirements, leading meetings to facilitate requirements gathering, and serving as a bridge between healthcare providers, vendors, and IT teams. The analyst will manage external relationships with data aggregators and vendors, build and maintain market partnerships for data acquisition, and identify data trends and inconsistencies. Additional tasks include creating reports, coordinating with the procurement team, mentoring team members, and monitoring data intake processes for market requests.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in healthcare, business development, or strategy. 3. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Health Information Exchange (HIE) vendors and clinical data aggregators on electronic exchange of clinical data (ADT, CCD, etc.). 4. Experience with SQL is required. 5. Experience with Power BI is strongly preferred. 6. Certification in Healthcare Information and Management Systems is preferred.
