Client Success Manager
Job Description
Join our team as a Client Success Manager, taking the lead in a designated territory. You'll be the point person for renewal execution, ensuring our customers stick with us, and we hit our revenue and growth targets each year. Your main goals include: 1. Leading renewal talks and finding ways to increase revenue. 2. Regularly connecting with customers online and in person to build trust and offer advice. 3. Building strong relationships by understanding what our customers need and showing we're committed to helping them succeed. 4. Encouraging customers to become Avenu references. 5. Creating effective plans to meet revenue targets and achieve steady growth through demand generation and pipeline management. 6. Gaining customer understanding by staying updated on their needs and growth strategies. 7. Working with Avenu resources to handle contracts, pricing, and bookings. 8. Using Avenu solutions to support sales, including industry, line-of-business, and technology solutions. 9. Staying informed about Avenu's competition to effectively position our solutions. 10. Planning the sales pipeline to keep it current. 11. Managing resources by deploying the right teams for successful product and service delivery. 12. Ensuring account teams are knowledgeable about customer strategies and prepared for interactions. 13. Maximizing the value of sales support teams. 14. Maintaining accurate customer and pipeline data in our CRM system. 15. Enthusiastically participating in Avenu promotions and events. 16. Understanding state and local government management and public sector sales and marketing. 17. Being knowledgeable in commercial metrics and forecasting. 18. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Client Success Manager position, these qualifications must be met: 1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2. 3+ years of proven experience as a Client Success Manager, Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar role, primarily focused on renewals for public sector, state, and local government accounts. 3. Experience in sales operations and/or contract negotiation is advantageous. 4. Demonstrated success in selling business application software and services across diverse industries. 5. Proven track record with large transactions and extended sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market.
