Claims Analyst

Job Description

The Claims Analyst will manage complex cargo claims from filing to resolution, including negotiating settlements and analyzing claims trends to identify issues. Lead high-level external communications, address inquiries, and drive resolutions. Manage financial aspects of claims, ensuring accurate balancing and understanding of payment methods. Resolve high-value claims, navigate investigations, and mentor junior team members. Oversee claim operations, optimizing efficiency, and foster collaboration with internal departments.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of professional experience. 2. 5+ years of experience managing claims required. 3. Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail. 4. Proficient in Google Suite; conduct basic risk analysis and general data reporting. 5. Superior written and verbal communication skills. 6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 7. Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
