Claims Adjuster – Associate

Job Description

This Claims Adjuster position involves close collaboration with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to thoroughly assess and examine pet medical records, establishing a clear understanding of their health status. This role is responsible for investigating and handling assigned insurance claims, verifying coverage details, and accurately determining compensation amounts in line with the insurance policy terms. The duties include updating Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements, processing payments, and finalizing claims efficiently. There may be occasions to request medical records from healthcare providers and engage in communication with clients and providers during the treatment phase. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

1. Possess 1 year of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic setting. 2. Meet one of the following criteria: Hold an Associate’s Degree or have equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience equals one year of college); or be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). 3. You must acquire and maintain an Adjuster's license within 90 days of being hired. 4. This role is exclusive to United States residents.
