Civil Engineering Technician – Mission Critical

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support engineering projects, working directly with engineers, project managers, and design team members. You will deliver high-quality drafting of engineering drawings and exhibits. You'll also assist with maintaining and further developing drafting standards. Key responsibilities include drafting plans for civil and related discipline design projects using AutoDesk Civil 3D, performing site grading analysis and calculations, and working independently and collaboratively to meet project timelines and requirements. You will also assist civil engineers with site design, utility design, grading, and overall plan production, while managing deadlines and prioritizing assignments effectively.

Qualifications

1. Must have 3+ years of drafting experience on civil engineering and/or related projects. 2. Proven knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. 3. Ability to be flexible and react accordingly to dynamic project needs on tight timelines and fast-paced schedules. 4. Understanding of civil engineering concepts (i.e., site layout, grading, utility design, etc.) is essential. 5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. 6. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
