Chief Technology Officer – CTO

Job Description

Seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define the long-term technology strategy at Cappta, aligning it with business objectives and key performance indicators. This role involves ensuring a secure, resilient, and scalable architecture, making critical decisions on financial flows, and maintaining high platform availability through continuous monitoring and effective incident management. The CTO will partner with Product to drive innovation in payments and AI, design the technology organization, and manage the technology budget and strategic vendors to ensure financial efficiency and operational sustainability.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in technology leadership at the executive level (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology). 2. Experience in payments, fintech, digital banks, or regulated financial institutions. 3. Track record of scaling technology organizations and high-volume transactional platforms. 4. Experience operating in regulated environments, including engagement with regulators and auditors. 5. Strong experience in distributed systems architecture and large-scale transactional platforms. 6. Deep knowledge of information security and compliance requirements in the financial sector. 7. Experience with cloud environments and scalable infrastructure strategies. 8. Structured understanding of data science and AI application. 9. Familiarity with the payments ecosystem (Pix, card networks, open finance, and financial integrations).
