Chief of Staff

Job Description

As Chief of Staff, you'll be at the heart of Primer's strategic operations. Step in for the CEO, COO, and CFO on key projects, ensuring senior-level oversight and successful completion. You will translate executive decisions into actionable steps, assign owners, and set deadlines, ensuring accountability and progress. Lead special projects, from strategic reviews to comprehensive analyses for board discussions. Craft compelling materials for strategic audiences, including board decks, company town halls, and internal newsletters. Facilitate collaboration between product, engineering, and commercial teams, streamlining coordination. Drive business cadence through weekly leadership syncs, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and board preparation. Collaborate with the COO to manage OKR setting, tracking, and accountability across the leadership team. Support AI adoption across the business, identifying effective tools and workflows. Proactively address cross-functional gaps and keep the executive team informed on internal developments.

Qualifications

1. Requires 4 to 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a fast-moving tech company. 2. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. 3. Must be comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure. 4. Requires strong analytical instincts to cut through complexity. 5. Must be organized and reliable with strong judgment. 6. Requires intellectual range and context switching ability. 7. Must have a genuine interest in Primer's mission. 8. Must be comfortable deriving insights from data with strong Spreadsheet and PowerPoint skills. SQL experience a plus. 9. Knowledge in AI tools and their practical application is a plus.
