Business Process Leader, Finance

Job Description

As a Business Process Leader in Finance, you will be a key player in designing and implementing operational workflows. Your expertise will ensure a balance between internal controls, efficiency, and consistent process application. You'll be instrumental in creating, testing, and documenting systems, reporting, and workflows within MMA's standard operating procedures and Epic framework. This involves leveraging agency management systems and reporting tools to enhance process accuracy and completeness. Furthermore, you will maintain and update procedures for training and ongoing reference, collaborating with training resources to address knowledge gaps and support AMS onboarding and training needs.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting within the insurance sector. 2. Comprehensive knowledge of agency management systems (CRM, AMS, LMS, etc.), including Applied Epic, Sagitta, BenefitPoint, and AMS360. 3. Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. 4. Proven ability to improve processes, enhancing efficiency and quality through best practices. 5. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 6. Experience presenting effectively to diverse, cross-functional teams and leaders. 7. Solid understanding of business processes in Premium Accounting, Internal controls, Financial reporting, and Sales compensation modeling.
