Job Description
Drive business growth as a Business Development Specialist, focusing on Out of Hospital (OOH) initiatives in Austria. This role involves developing and executing a national OOH strategy for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Responsibilities include identifying new business prospects, creating scalable business models, and analyzing the Austrian OOH market, including wound care nurses and homecare providers. The role requires establishing relationships with key stakeholders, promoting NPWT use, collaborating with clinical and sales teams, and supporting product launches. It also involves contributing to international projects, ensuring documentation, and building an OOH wound care community to foster therapy adoption and knowledge exchange.
Qualifications
1. A degree in healthcare management, business administration, medical technology, nursing sciences, or a related field is essential. 2. Several years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the healthcare industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), wound care, or similar medical technologies is advantageous. 4. Willingness to travel extensively within Austria. 5. Fluency in both German and English. 6. Proficiency in using CRM systems and analytical tools. 7. Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking with strong analytical capabilities. 8. High level of initiative, a structured approach to work, and project management skills. 9. Excellent communication and presentation abilities for interacting with clinical, commercial, and strategic stakeholders. 10. Ability to translate complex healthcare environments into practical business concepts. 11. A proactive "hunter" mindset focused on acquiring new business and prospecting directly.
