Business Development Representative – SaaS
Job Description
Generate and qualify pipeline through both outbound and inbound prospecting efforts. Execute multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to connect with potential clients. Engage with senior stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and priorities. Utilize Salesforce, Salesloft, and various data tools such as ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator to efficiently manage activities and gather insights. Continuously refine outreach messaging to boost engagement and improve conversion rates. Engage prospects to fully understand their business needs and effectively communicate the value of Riskonnect solutions. Develop and enhance strong qualification skills, adeptly handling objections during prospect conversations. Collaborate with the Sales team to target high-priority accounts and align on outreach strategies. Represent Riskonnect at industry events and engagements as required. Consistently meet and exceed targets for meetings and Sales Qualified Leads. Maintain meticulous tracking of activity and performance metrics, focusing on ongoing improvements. Stay well-informed about market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape. Perform any other reasonable duties as required to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
1. Possess 1–3 years of experience in sales or a high-performance, target-driven environment. 2. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to think quickly and strategically. 3. Experience in B2B SaaS or exposure to risk or compliance environments is highly advantageous. 4. Maintain a competitive mindset with a strong drive to continuously improve and achieve outstanding results. 5. Operate comfortably in a fast-paced, structured environment with high activity expectations. 6. Engage effectively with senior stakeholders in meaningful business conversations. 7. Display coachability and a willingness to embrace feedback for personal and professional growth. 8. Exhibit strong motivation to excel in a performance-driven environment. 9. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially within CRM systems. 10. Accurately maintain CRM data and manage workflows with efficiency. 11. Work independently with remote leadership support. 12. Possess a degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience.
