Job Description

Beatport Tickets is seeking a Part-Time Business Development Representative to focus on the US electronic music events market. Key responsibilities include: Market Research & Lead Generation: Gathering intelligence on the US club and festival market, identifying and qualifying electronic music event promoters, festivals, and venues, and monitoring trends. Sales & Partnership Development: Presenting Beatport Tickets as a leading ticketing solution, building relationships with promoters and venues, developing business proposals, and representing the company at industry events. Coordination & Strategic Input: Aligning with the Head of Ticketing on sales targets, collaborating with marketing teams, and feeding US market insights into the global Beatport Tickets roadmap.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or ticketing sales. 2. Deep understanding of ticketing platforms and the needs of promoters and venues. 3. Strong network within the US electronic music, nightlife, and event promotion scene. 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 5. Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results in a part-time setup. 6. Passion for electronic music and alignment with Beatport’s mission and culture. 7. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
