Job Description

Seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for ThoughtFull in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. This role involves executing sales and business development strategies to meet revenue and pipeline targets. You will build a strong market understanding to identify target customer segments, partnership opportunities, and growth levers. Responsibilities include driving pipeline growth through outbound prospecting, networking, partnerships, and inbound lead conversion. This also involves sourcing, pitching, and supporting onboarding of channel partners, driving partnership sales enablement by equipping partners with the right materials, training, and ongoing support to generate qualified leads, collaborating with partners on go-to-market initiatives and joint value propositions, supporting the development of scalable sales and partnerships processes, tracking leads, opportunities, and performance using CRM tools, working closely with Marketing to align on targeting, messaging, and lead generation efforts, partnering with internal teams to refine offerings and improve outcomes, and contributing to continuous improvement using data and performance insights.

Qualifications

1. 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience in HR solutions, employee benefits, insurance, brokers, or TPAs preferred) 2. Proven ability to generate pipeline and close deals, either through direct sales or partner channels 3. Experience working with or managing partnerships and distribution channels is a strong advantage 4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners 5. Comfortable working with targets, pipeline tracking, and CRM systems 6. Process- and data-driven, with the ability to contribute to building scalable systems and workflows 7. Adaptable and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment 8. Regional exposure in Southeast Asia is a plus 9. This role is open to candidates who are currently based locally in Philippines and fluent in the local language.
