Business Development Manager – Manufactured Housing

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) focused on the manufactured housing vertical. The ideal candidate will: * Drive team performance against weekly and monthly targets for meetings booked and pipeline created. * Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and role-play sessions to improve prospecting and discovery skills. * Oversee and continuously refine the team's outbound strategy across cold calling and email. * Hire and onboard new BDR team members and ramp them to productivity quickly. * Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and strong meeting-to-opportunity conversion. * Collaborate with marketing to align on ideal customer profile (ICP) targeting, messaging, and campaign strategy for the manufactured housing segment. * Monitor and report on key BDR metrics – dials, connects, meetings booked, pipeline created – and present weekly updates to sales leadership. * Enforce CRM hygiene standards and consistent data entry practices across the team. * Contribute to playbook development for the manufactured housing vertical.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should have: 1. 1+ years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or insurance. 2. 2+ years of experience as a BDR manager with direct responsibility for managing and developing BDR/SDR performance. 3. A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding outbound pipeline targets. 4. Strong coaching instincts; the ability to derive energy from helping others improve. 5. Comfort operating in a fast-moving, scrappy environment where processes are still being built. 6. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools such as Gong, Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo. 7. Experience selling into insurance, real estate, property management, manufactured housing, or adjacent industries is a plus.
