Business Development Manager – EV and Clean Energy Solutions
Job Description
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our EV and Clean Energy Solutions division. This role involves proactively generating leads through cold-calling, networking, and industry outreach. The ideal candidate will qualify prospects, manage the sales funnel, and develop customized proposals. A key responsibility is educating customers on our EV charging and energy solutions. Meeting sales goals, tracking activities in Salesforce, and building long-term client relationships are essential. Collaboration with internal teams and representation at industry events are also required. You'll develop comprehensive sales strategies, conduct market research, and secure strategic alliances. Closing major sales opportunities with enterprise and government clients will be a critical focus.
Qualifications
1. Requires 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the EV charging or Renewable Energy sectors. 2. Proven success in cold calling and new business development is essential. 3. Must be a self-starter thriving in a fast-paced environment. 4. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is necessary. 5. MBA preferred. 6. Experience scaling revenue in a fast-growing company is required. 7. Proven ability to develop sales strategies and manage sales teams is a must. 8. Strong understanding of the EV charging industry and Renewable Energy market dynamics is needed. 9. Expertise in B2B and potentially B2C sales models is required. 10. Experience with sales forecasting and CRM software (Salesforce) is essential. 11. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary. 12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach are required. 13. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to market conditions. 14. A valid Driver’s License is required.
