Business Development Manager – Combi Sales

Job Description

Drive new business sales by identifying and securing new customers through strategic targeting. Develop and implement sales plans for prospect accounts, including resource planning, revenue forecasting, and relationship building. Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, presenting solutions that align with customer needs. Clearly communicate the value of company solutions, demonstrating how our products and services outperform competitors. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, competitive offerings, and industry trends. Work with marketing, engineering, and product strategy teams to optimize sales efforts and customer engagement. Provide accurate forecasting, customer insights, and market feedback to leadership. Build trust and influence decisions at the executive level. Manage multiple prospects, ensuring organized and efficient progress. Uphold company values and expected behaviors. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2. 5-7 years of new business development experience, preferably in the foodservice equipment industry. 3. Self-motivated with a hunter mentality focused on achieving results. 4. Strong prospecting, selling, negotiation, and closing skills. 5. Excellent time management, organizational, and forecasting skills. 6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive audiences. 7. Proficiency with common business technologies (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, web-based tools). 8. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments. 9. Willingness to travel up to 75%. 10. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
