Business Development Executive, Technology
Job Description
As a Business Development Executive, you'll aggressively pursue targeted Enterprise accounts within designated territories. You'll execute comprehensive sales strategies to convert prospects into active opportunities, positioning Staples Technology Solutions as the preferred choice for IT and Procurement decision-makers. Your role involves diligent research to understand prospective customers' industries and challenges. Collaboration with Staples office products Key Account Managers and other sales teams is crucial for securing technology contracts within broader customer relationships. You will also work with the Sales Support Team to improve customer response times and provide input to sales leadership on potential programs. Effective communication with C-level executives and vendor partners is essential.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 2. High School Diploma/GED. 3. 3+ years of strategic relationship-building and solution-selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market. 4. Demonstrated prospecting and team selling experience. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 6. CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com. 7. Expertise in qualifying prospects based on target customer guidelines.
