AcelaBio is seeking a Business Development Director to achieve annual sales targets within a defined region and expand the client base in new markets. This role involves developing and leading client presentations, managing the proposal development process, and supporting contract negotiations. Key responsibilities include leading BD marketing activities, strategic sales planning, and maintaining strong client relationships through regular updates and issue resolution. The director will also analyze market trends, support vendor sourcing, and ensure CRM system accuracy.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of related experience or college diploma with 8+ years of experience. 2. Ability to cover EST-based clients. 3. Science or business degree preferred with industry experience and continuous professional development. 4. Proven track record in B2B sales and business development in clinical research, CRO, or related life sciences. 5. Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. 6. Strong communication skills across technical, scientific, and executive audiences; experience with proposal development, RFP responses, and contract negotiation. 7. Strategic business development skills to grow a regional client base in a CRO or life sciences environment. 8. Experience in executive-level client relationship management and complex negotiation across multi-stakeholder environments.
