Business Development Associate, Mexico, Remote – Consultant

Job Description

The Business Development Associate will pinpoint and assess prospects to broaden Generation's scope and influence with employer collaborators in Mexico. Primary duties involve: Conducting research to discover potential employers and create a leads database. Assessing leads based on their compatibility with Generation's purpose and objectives, ensuring they fulfill essential benchmarks. Beginning communication via email, telephone, and other methods to build relationships with prospective partners. Helping to create materials and presentations to aid business development efforts. Providing weekly reports to monitor the advancement and success of lead generation initiatives. Maintaining the CRM database (Salesforce) with thorough data on leads, outreach activities, and outcomes. Monitoring opportunity statuses by pursuing follow-ups and documenting input from prospective partners.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a strong academic background. 2. 1-2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. 3. Current understanding of lead generation tools and techniques (e.g., CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools. 5. Fluency in Spanish; intermediate English is a plus. 6. Strong communication, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with excellent follow-up ability. 7. Exceptional planning, self-management, and organizational skills. 8. Proactive approach and active listening abilities. 9. Ability to identify and qualify leads based on strategic priorities. 10. Comfort in outreach and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders. 11. Experience in sales or partnership development. 12. Passion for supporting social impact initiatives. 13. Open-minded, adaptable, and communicative when providing feedback.
