Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist

Job Description

We're seeking a Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist to coordinate and manage all activities related to securing prescription drug coverage for our patients. This involves collaborating with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting documentation to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs, implementing financial means testing, and coordinating pharmacy processes upon funding approval. The specialist will also develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms and report any adverse events to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications

1. Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in an office environment. 3. Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). 4. Professional, courteous, and effective telephone manner. 5. Proven ability to manage time, prioritize, and multitask to meet competing deadlines. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 8. Attention to detail. 9. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industries is required. 10. Bilingual in French and English is required.
