Job Description

Seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent telehealth care. Responsibilities include: Delivering healthcare services to patients through telephone and video consultations. Creating and implementing individualized clinical care plans for adult patients. Collecting patient history, conducting physical exams, and ordering diagnostics when necessary. Identifying and addressing gaps in patient care. Fulfilling the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families. Educating patients and families on medication use, potential side effects, and disease progression. Collaborating with clinical team members and medical providers. Maintaining accurate patient medical records and documentation. Completing continuing education requirements as mandated by the state and certifying body. Prescribing medications in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications

Key requirements for this role include: 1. A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN). 2. Active national Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification. 3. A current, valid, and unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas, Kansas, or Iowa. 4. An active, unrestricted RN Compact license. 5. Bilingual proficiency is essential. 6. Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing complex care cases. 7. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is necessary.
