Bible Study Curriculum Editor/Writer

Job Description

We're seeking a Bible Study Curriculum Editor/Writer to develop engaging Bible study lessons for students aged 5-18. Responsibilities include crafting biblically sound content, designing inductive study questions, and editing existing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong theological foundation and the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences. Contribute to a positive work environment while creating impactful learning resources.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Christian education, theology, or equivalent. 2. At least three years’ experience in publishing. 3. Strong proficiency with core business productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 or equivalent), as well as Adobe Creative Suite, with particular emphasis on Adobe InDesign. 4. Flexibility and adaptability to new projects, ideas, and shifts in work assignments. 5. Understanding of the process for Christian spiritual formation. 6. Involvement with CBS or other in-depth, verse-by-verse Bible study preferred. 7. Experience working in youth-oriented Christian education is a plus. 8. Experience in developing and managing employees and contractors is a plus. 9. Cross-cultural experience a plus
