Job Description

The BC Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing donors, enhancing their support for our mission. This involves personalized engagement and the implementation of tailored donor development strategies. Key responsibilities include: 1. Identifying and researching major gift donor prospects, then developing and executing effective solicitation strategies. 2. Building comprehensive donor profiles by researching donor history, giving capacity, and demographic information. 3. Ensuring timely and appropriate donor appreciation and recognition. 4. Managing donor interactions accurately within Salesforce, our donor management system. 5. Providing feedback and progress reports on donor development, funds raised, and required changes to improve donor relations. 6. Collaborating with the Partnership Team to implement strategic plans and achieve goals. 7. Working with the Philanthropy and Communications team to ensure appropriate and timely donor relationship management. 8. Identifying and developing growth opportunities with colleagues. 9. Helping identify leads for new missionaries in partnership with the Recruitment Team. 10. Assisting with and attending events throughout the year. 11. Helping identify key volunteers for fundraising activities and special events.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of five years of proven success in fundraising or business development, where relationship building was essential. 2. A clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check. 3. A valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation. 4. Ability to travel domestically. 5. Agreement and compliance with the MAF Canada Statement of Faith, Community Standards Statement, and organizational policies. 6. CFRE status is a significant advantage.
