Job Description

Join our client as a Backend Data Engineer and play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses. Your work will directly impact user-facing features, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Utilize your expertise in Python, External APIs, Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon S3 to develop cutting-edge ETL ecosystem tools. As a key member of the engineering team, you'll define automated solutions to tackle complex data challenges, enhance data understanding, and drive market insights. Contribute to the development of engineering best practices, comprehensive documentation, and streamlined process flows to foster seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications

1. 2 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Backend Engineering. 2. Expert-level understanding of SQL-based database design and implementation. 3. High-level proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python; PHP or JavaScript may also be considered. 4. Proven experience in high-volume ETL systems. 5. Effective communication skills to work with engineering peers, project managers, and stakeholders.
