Job Description
DMS International is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to contribute to our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for: * Architecting and managing secure, high-availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices. * Implementing, managing, and optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelines. * Designing and implementing approaches to continuously update and secure AVD resources. * Developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a cloud environment. * Documenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration. * Learning and adapting to new Azure cloud resources, with opportunities for formal training.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer role, you should possess: 1. U.S. Citizenship. 2. Ability to obtain a DoD interim Secret-level Security Clearance within 30 days of being hired. 3. 4+ years of experience in Azure and AVD technologies or similar Virtual Desktop solutions. 4. Experience with Windows Installer technologies and implementation of shared VM resources. 5. Experience architecting & designing Azure-based solutions. 6. Understanding of high-availability environments such as clustering, failover, and geographic redundancy. 7. Understanding of network design & topologies including edge services & point-to-point VPNs within cloud environs.
