Job Description

Define business objectives and translate them into actionable machine learning problems with measurable success metrics. Design and implement efficient data models tailored for analytical and machine learning workloads. Conduct feature engineering and selection based on relevant business context. Develop, train, evaluate, and refine machine learning models iteratively. Execute experiments and monitor outcomes using Azure Machine Learning. Utilize notebooks for thorough data exploration, model development, and validation processes. Document key assumptions, model behavior, and results for business and technical stakeholders. Collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to ensure comprehensive data readiness. Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure models achieve tangible business outcomes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. 3-5 years of practical experience in data science, machine learning, or similar roles. 3. Extensive experience with Python for data analysis and machine learning tasks. 4. Proven experience with Azure ML Python SDK (v2). 5. Hands-on experience using Azure Machine Learning (workspaces, experiments, models). 6. Proficiency in Jupyter Notebooks within Azure ML Studio for experimentation and modeling purposes. 7. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (features, labels, training data, validation). 8. Demonstrated experience building and comparing regression, classification, or clustering models. 9. Ability to translate business requirements into machine learning solutions with clear outcomes. 10. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 11. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). 12. Certified in Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) and Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900). 13. Exposure to ML lifecycle practices (experimentation, evaluation, deployment readiness) is a plus. 14. Familiarity with common ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy). 15. Experience working within cross-functional teams (business, engineering, analytics).
