Azure Data Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL), including batch and streaming scenarios. You will build and maintain scalable systems for data collection and storage in distributed environments. Your responsibilities include implementing aggregation, transformation, and data provisioning processes for analysis and consumption by business areas. You will ensure data quality, performance, and reliability throughout the entire pipeline, and contribute to the evolution of the data architecture, focusing on scalability and best practices.

Qualifications

1. A degree in Information Technology (Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields). 2. Experience with BI and Analytics projects. 3. Proficiency in SQL. 4. Knowledge of data modeling (dimensional and/or relational). 5. Experience with ETL processes. 6. Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure. 7. Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. 8. Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Event Hubs. 9. Knowledge of Python.
