Azure Cloud Administrator

Job Description

Administer and provide support for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring the best possible performance and security. Manage and maintain identity services, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID). Deploy, configure, and support Azure AD components and related services. Provide daily operational support for cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools. Implement and manage access controls, authentication methods, and identity protection solutions. Support cloud migrations, including transitions from on-premises to Azure and VMware to Azure. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with security frameworks, policies, and best practices. Collaborate across teams with engineering, security, and operations departments.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Senior-level experience in cloud engineering, cloud administration, or network engineering. 3. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 4. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 5. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) (preferred). 6. Experience supporting enterprise or government cloud environments (preferred). 7. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (preferred).
