Job Description

As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will: - Take the lead in customer interactions, guiding technical discussions and solution presentations. - Bolster DevOps, migration, and modernization initiatives with top-tier technical strategies. - Perform Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) evaluations and manage workshops to gauge cloud migration readiness. - Develop comprehensive effort estimates and scope-of-work documents for project planning and proposals. - Act as a primary escalation resource for intricate technical hurdles during project phases. - Mentor team members on AWS solutions, migration approaches, and industry best practices, promoting skill enhancement. - Utilize substantial cloud migration expertise to ensure smooth AWS transitions from on-site setups. - Conceptualize and execute cutting-edge solutions, maintaining a hands-on approach throughout the project lifecycle. - Remain current with AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and progressive technologies to foster innovation.

Qualifications

To succeed as an AWS Solutions Architect, you should have: 1. AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly advantageous. 2. Significant hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS. 3. A history of successfully leading AWS migration and modernization projects. 4. Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, CircleCI). 5. Practical experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. 6. Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its principles. 7. Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges. 8. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 9. Experience with Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is a plus. 10. A passion for contributing to open-source tools and communities is a plus. 11. Knowledge of advanced AWS services or future technologies is a bonus.
