AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as an AWS DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You'll be responsible for building, automating, and managing AWS-based environments to support both development and production systems. Working closely with development teams, you will deploy, monitor, and optimize applications and services within AWS. You'll champion infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. Your involvement will span the entire lifecycle of infrastructure and deployment processes, from initial planning and configuration to ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 2. Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles. 3. Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Amplify, and other core AWS tools. 4. Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python or other scripting language. 5. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git-based workflows). 6. Working knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar). 7. Experience with databases such as RDS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB. 8. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments. 9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 10. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 11. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
