Automation Tester

Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Tester to enhance our testing capabilities. In this role, you will: 1. Spearhead the transition of automation frameworks from Leapwork to Playwright. 2. Create, refine, and oversee automated test scripts using Playwright. 3. Evaluate current Leapwork test scenarios and adapt them into robust Playwright scripts. 4. Guarantee comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases. 5. Work in tandem with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to define testing needs and specifications. 6. Discover methods to boost test automation workflows and structures. 7. Perform both manual and automated testing as necessary. 8. Pinpoint and address problems across automation and application layers. 9. Keep up-to-date documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and migration procedures.

Qualifications

1. Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright is essential. 2. Proven experience in migrating test automation frameworks, especially from Leapwork or similar tools. 3. Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for crafting automation scripts. 4. Experience in testing both APIs and UIs. 5. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control systems like Git. 6. Deep understanding of the principles and methods of software testing. 7. Strong abilities in analysis and problem-solving. 8. Excellent skills in communication and stakeholder engagement.
