Job Description

Join Parvana, a leading legal consultancy, as an Automation Engineer. You will design, develop, and implement innovative automation solutions, focusing on new components and scripts. You'll also administer and maintain managed systems, adhering to strict change control protocols. Your role encompasses managing the full lifecycle of all automation components, spearheading research, and creating comprehensive system documentation. Analyze project requirements, manage your workload efficiently, and stay updated on automation technologies. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide training on automation technologies and support other assigned duties.

Qualifications

1. A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is beneficial. 2. Possess 3+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting Linux Distributions and MS Windows Server (2012+). 3. Expertise in platforms like Ansible or Aria Automation (VRO), Chef, Puppet, and Terraform is essential. 4. Demonstrate expert proficiency in languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and/or Bash. 5. Familiarity with VMWare PowerCLI and a solid understanding of core concepts like Clusters, DRS, Distributed Switches, and vMotion are required. 6. Exhibit working knowledge of Active Directory (GPOs, permissions), DHCP, and DNS. 7. Have familiarity with systems like NFS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and SMB. 8. Demonstrate a strong understanding of mid to enterprise-scale data center topologies. 9. Show the ability to apply complex problem-solving techniques. 10. Possess reasonable understanding of Azure, AWS, Containers, and Kubernetes basics. 11. Have moderate experience with common platforms such as Service Now. 12. Advanced Aria/VRO automation, Deep Cloud/Container knowledge, and advanced Operating/Storage Systems (Windows/Linux, NetApp/Pure) would be beneficial.
