Associate Vice President
Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Vice President to support our sales teams. This role involves coordinating meetings with prospects, qualifying referrals, and maintaining communication to nurture relationships. The candidate will assist with lead generation, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure accurate CRM updates. Responsibilities also include planning case preparation and coordinating wholesale events to drive sales momentum within a client-focused environment, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients to the onboarding team and managing event logistics for client meetings and industry conferences.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 2. At least 2 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry. 3. Proven experience in a sales support business development role. 4. Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, high-volume sales environment. 5. Series 65 or Series 66 license or on track to achieve same unless candidate holds one of the following credentials: Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC). 6. CFP® (Certified Financial Planning) designation preferred. 7. Comprehensive industry and investment management knowledge. 8. Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). 9. Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. 10. Flexibility to travel.
