Job Description

As an Associate Mechanical Claims Adjuster, your responsibilities include: - Evaluating vehicle service agreements to ascertain covered failures. - Addressing and resolving client and customer issues promptly. - Precisely adjusting and documenting all claims in adherence to departmental standards. - Confirming coverage by meticulously processing claims and utilizing all available resources. - Thoroughly documenting justifications for claim denials or approvals in line with policy stipulations. - Collaborating directly with repair facilities and vendors to accurately adjudicate claims.

Qualifications

To succeed as an Associate Mechanical Claims Adjuster, you'll need: 1. A high school diploma or GED. 2. Two years of experience in customer service and the automotive field. 3. Two years of experience working with computers using multiple windows and applications. 4. Automotive expertise (official training, service advisor or technician experience, parts department experience, or lube technician experience). 5. The ability to quickly adapt to change and identify process improvement opportunities. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, management, customers, and counselors. 7. The ability to collaborate with others to generate ideas or resolve problems. 8. Proficiency in computer navigation and Microsoft Office 2003 or later, as well as Microsoft Windows XP or later.
